Complete Steel Inventory, MIG, TIG, Arc and gas welding.

We do it all. Whatever the job, our high quality work and reasonable rates will make you glad you called us.

Some of the most respected contractors in the area rely on us to take care of their steel inventory and welding. From metal stairs, handrails, parking lot bollards to door lentils, every job -- large or small -- is important to WY Welding and Steel Products. That’s why Richardson Construction has contracted us to take care of a variety of steel inventory and welding projects.

For Redco Construction, WY Welding and Steel Products completed all the steel fabrication and ironwork on the Advance Auto Parts building as well as the ornamental iron and railings on Eagle Ridge Townhomes.

If you’re a farmer or rancher and you have a water tank or windmill that needs to be fixed, we can get there and take care of it. We're on-site field and mobile welding capable.

Our work can be seen all over southeastern Wyoming. Take a look at the canopy arches for Indian Hills Center in Cheyenne or the cemetery fence and branding irons at the historic Remount Ranch outside of Cheyenne. We've done a lot of work for the Petsch and Kirkbride Ranches in Meriden, major operations run by guys who don't have time to deal with anything less than work they know they can count on.
Alan Kirkbride, calls the welders at WY Welding and Steel Products "very savvy."

"We had a cattle guard that got damaged and had holes in it," he said. "They came out and repaired it and it was better than new. We had an old, very large water tank -- it was 17,000 gallons -- that had a hole in the bottom. WY Welding and Steel Products came out, got down in there and welded it up. It was one-quarter inch steel. They come right to the site and fix whatever it is, where it is. And those were in pretty remote places."

We've also done remodeling and repairs at F.E. Warren Air Force Base, Frontier Refinery in Cheyenne and the Historic High School in LaGrange, Wyoming.  We’ve crossed the country doing structural remodeling for Staples® buildings.

Who Are We?

We're Howard and Hugh Deselms, father and son, owners of AgriQuip, Inc. and WY Welding andSteel Products, respectively.
A longtime farmer and rancher in Albin, Wyoming, Howard has 30 years of experience in the sale and erection of agricultural, commercial, and metal buildings, including Butler® Buildings.

AgriQuip sells post-frame, agricultural and metal buildings, and we're the only dealer of Butler® Buildings in southeast Wyoming.  We erect them for you and provide repair, parts and service.

WY Welding and Steel Products supplies a complete steel inventory, provides fabrication and welding for both residential, agricultural and commercial properties, and makes ornamental fences, gates, handrail and stairs.

Hugh started WY Welding and Steel Products in Cheyenne in 2004, following four years of experience welding at Superior Machine in Powell.  An AWS Certified welder, he has an Associate Degree in Applied Science, welding technology.  Well-known as a Cheyenne subcontractor, he's relocated his business to his farm/ranch near Meriden Wyoming.

We are both Wyoming LEAD class graduates sponsored by the Wyoming Business Council.

Our business principles

Whether we've been hired to supply steel, complete a welding project or put up an agricultural or commercial building, we treat our clients with honesty and integrity. We take pride in delivering not only competitively priced inventory but also quality workmanship and dependable service.  As fourth and fifth generation ranchers, the Code of the West is more to us than words in a handsomely illustrated cowboy book.  It's what we live by.
